Here at The Stamford Marquee Company we take pride in our clients. We listen to your ideas and advise you every step of the way. It’s your day and you have the chance to create something truly special. We will work with you to make sure that it happens.

Who We Are

The Stamford Marquee Company was founded in 2010 to take advantage of a perceived gap in the market for the supply of high quality marquees and services into both the private and corporate event markets.

We have worked hard to build a reputation which has made us supplier of choice to Lincolnshire County Council amongst others. We have an ever growing list of corporate and private clients who will attest to our excellent service record of which we are very proud.

In January 2017, we signed a strategic partnership with LUX Technical an event production, design and installation specialist. Lux Technical has worked with global brands such as Adidas, Google and Facebook; and together we are able to provide a truly stunning backdrop for any event.

What We Do

We offer a full range of products and services, from basic marquee hire to full packages that include:

  • marquee hire
  • staging, lighting and PA
  • dance floors and bars
  • furniture, fittings and floorings
  • support infrastructure: power generators, air-conditioning, heating, lighting, and toilets

hire, design, planning & installation.

We use the latest, high quality aluminium frame marquees which have no internal poles or hazardous guy ropes! These marquees are modular (almost like Lego!!), which allows us to create the working space for any event.

We Work Hard for You

All our staff are friendly and courteous and if you have a question don’t be afraid to ask. We are only too happy for you to get involved. We are only too happy to explain the process as it is evolving.

Meet the Management Team

Adrian Forrest
Adrian ForrestManaging Director

Adrian founded The Stamford Marquee Company in 2010 and is very much the public face of the company handling sales enquiries, quotes, site visits and overseeing construction.

Adrian undoubtedly knows his stuff and helps you with the design, layout, finishing and costings for your marquee, however, manipulating our CAD design tools is not his greatest forte, but thankfully we have an excellent in house team to cover this off!

Sam Parr
Sam ParrOperations Manager
Sam’s been with us since he was in sixth form where he worked in his summer holidays and continued working for us through subsequent summers whilst at university.

Sam loved working with us so much, he joined full-time in 2018 although he spends a significant part of the winter on the ski slopes of Europe as a ski instructor.

As Operations Manager, Sam manages the site teams, overseeing all site planning and installations. Sam also looks after our main stores and transport.

David Holmes
David HolmesLogistics & Transport Manager
David has worked with us in an advisory capacity since our formation in 2011. He joined the team properly last year and is charged with the job of making sure the right things get to the right place at the right time.

David has a lifetime’s experience in the logistics and haulage industry and holds an HGV class 1 which comes into play for many of our larger projects.

Though David wouldn’t admit it, he’s happiest behind the wheel of one of our 18 tonne lorries!

Carolyn Howe
Carolyn HoweOffice Manager
Carolyn is a central part of our team, she is friendly and approachable and can answer any of your questions.

Carolyn provides office-based client support, managing quotations, design planning and virtually anything else you could imagine…but so we far we haven’t dared ask her to help construct any of our marquees.

On an administrative front, Carolyn manages our accounts, banking and day-to-day supplier relations.

Where We Have Worked

From our home-town of Stamford, we quickly built up a solid client base within a 50 radius of our nearest city Peterborough. Today we operate across the East Midlands and East Anglia covering Lincolnshire, Nottinghamshire, Leicestershire, Northamptonshire, Rutland, Cambridgeshire, Bedfordshire and Norfolk in the east.

More recently, our work has taken us further afield, from London and Oxfordshire in the south east, to Yorkshire in the north and as far west as the Cotswolds and even Herefordshire.

To avoid parts of the map being completely covered in little blue tents, we have highlighted just the key locations where we have worked.
