Terms and Conditions
Definitions
The "Company" refers to The Stamford Marquee Company. VAT registration Number 116564517, Company Number No 7245983.
The "Client" refers to the person, company or organisation to whom the quotation is addressed and who is responsible on site for "Company" equipment.
"Period of Hire" means the period from delivery on site until the Equipment has been dismantled and removed.
"Equipment" means all Company equipment including Marquees.
Undertaking
The Company undertakes to:
- deliver the equipment on the delivery date and to erect it for use on or before the agreed commencement date and time.
- to dismantle and remove the equipment from the site as soon as reasonable and practicable after use.
The client undertakes to:
- pay a non refundable deposit of 10% of the total quoted hire cost to secure the booking into the Company Bank account. 40% of the total cost of the hire must be paid and cleared into the Company Bank Account at least 4 weeks prior to the hire commencement date. 50% of the total cost of the hire must be paid and cleared into the Stamford Marquee Company Bank account prior to work on site commencing.
- provide the Company with an accurate plan of the site showing location of underground services or above ground obstacles which may affect the placement of equipment.
- to give notice to or obtain any permits from local authorities and/or site owners prior to installation.
- not to enter the equipment site whilst the Company is in the process of installation or dismantling.
- not to use any lighting, heating,cooking or other gas or electrical appliances of any kind without prior written consent of the Company.
- indemnify the Company against any damage to Company equipment during the period of hire, unless caused by the Company.
- not to tamper with the equipment or structure and not to affix or suspend objects from the Equipment without the prior written permission of the Company.
Variations
If a quotation is provided without a prior site visit the quotation price is based on the following assumptions:
- that the client provides a firm level site in which Marquee stakes can be embedded without the use mechanical means.
- the site is not susceptible to flooding and is able to absorb rainfall.
- site is free from obstructions.
- should the equipment be erected in an alternative site to that originally proposed, the Company may adjust the quotation should there be additional costs.
- the site is accessible to vehicles.
